Summer seems to be fraying around the edges.  Last week everything was green and happy.  This week, the light has changed, the shadows are creeping in, and the leaves are starting to drift to the ground, shriveled and brown.  Everything but the heat seems to be wrapping up summer vacation here in Central Virginia.
