Happy Labor Day!  My goal this lovely, long weekend  has been to do as little labor as possible.  To that end, a friend of mine came by Sunday afternoon to hang with me and the gang.

Over the last year or so, Laurie has stopped by to visit regularly and has built a relationship with even the most difficult of my clan, Petunia.  She is very generous in allowing them free rein.  When I asked her if I could take pictures, she said she didn’t really want to see herself in pictures — I promised her that from my chair, all anybody would see would be her shoes and dogs!

It is such a lovely, restful event in my house to sit down with a friend that embraces being around so many dogs.  Only a true friend would actually enjoy this much “face time” with my fur kids.
